The next line in the Gujarati alphabet contains the dentals , so called because the tip of the tongue strikes the back of the upper teeth. T' is with the tip of the tongue slightly protruded beyond the teeth , TH is as in the English THank , THE is as in THat and THH is THE sounded from the chest. This form of N is the commonest one used .
